Our Cadia site is located in Central West New South Wales, approximately 25 kms outside the vibrant regional town of Orange and three hours’ drive from Sydney. Employees reside in the varied accommodation options in Orange, with the surrounding winery and national park areas to enjoy. Have access to the area’s wide range of amenities, including a prominent health sector, excellent educational facilities, shopping, transport and other services such as childcare.
Who are we looking for
As an engaged and collaborative Community Relations Advisor at Cadia, you will support the management of Social Performance programs that include administration of the Community Partnership Programs, Workforce Engagement Programs, and responses to media.
This challenging yet rewarding role will see you arrange media events and articles to promote our wider community benefits whilst providing opportunities for the Cadia workforce to get involved with Environment & Community Relations programs and events.
Other key deliverables include:
Demonstrated experience in events management, project management, running community programmes (or projects and events), and working in a range of communication mediums will ensure seamless transition into this role. Through excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills, you will liaise effectively with community groups in a multi-stakeholder environment resulting in achievement of desired outcomes.
