Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional Correctional Services and Programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community. CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
About the Role
Psychologists work directly with offenders in custody and recently-released offenders who have been reintroduced into the community. Our Psychologists are highly valued and essential members of the team who work hard to make a difference and assist offenders in reducing the risk of re-offending. Our team doesn’t stop there! Our Psychologists have opportunities to assist in the development of policies, procedures, and training for other psychologists and often liaise and negotiate with stakeholders.

If your application is successful and you pass all pre-employment checks, your application will be placed into a talent pool. When a vacancy arises in your preferred location, the talent pool will be activated and offers of employment will be based on date of application, location preference, capabilities, knowledge and experience.
