We are seeking a motivated and innovative Food Services Associate to be part of our inaugural Food Services team at Epworth Eastern. The successful candidate will be part of a team dedicated to delivering quality fresh cooked meals to our patients. Key areas of focus for this role include:
Providing patients with all food related services
Assisting with food preparation, delivery and clearance of food trays
Accurately verifying patient food requirements
Ensuring patients receive appropriate food according to relevant diet codes
Washing and cleaning
Maintaining highest levels of food safety at all times
Being a dedicated, supportive and quality driven team member
Delivering excellent patient experience
Efficiency in operational duties
This role involves a high degree of physical tasks and manual handling.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role you will:
Have or be willing to attain a current food handling certificate for healthcare - Code: Food Safety Level 1 – HLTFSE001
Have sound computer skills
Have demonstrated knowledge of and ability to work in accordance with, all food safety requirements
Be flexible in working various shifts across 7 days
Be able to demonstrate safe work practices at all times
Be adaptive to change and accountable for your responsibilities
Have the ability to follow work procedures and be willing to embrace change and prioritise workloads
