An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and committed counsellor to join the Northern Centre against Sexual Assault team. Northern CASA is the regional sexual assault service for Northern Metropolitan Melbourne and is auspiced by Austin Health. We provide counselling to adults and young people over 12 years who have experienced recent or past sexual assault, and their family members. Northern CASA services include 24 hour crisis care for recent victims of sexual assault, short-medium term trauma counselling and advocacy, support groups and secondary consultation and training for other professionals. NCASA is also involved in a range of activities aimed at preventing gender-based violence. This position is a part-time position until end of June, 2021.
