Job Description

We are looking to employ a Facility Manager with a proven track record in delivering service excellence to their clients. In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be accountable for ensuring the proactive day-to-day operation and presentation of multiple industrial sites across Greater Western Sydney. Based in our Parramatta office, but with regular travel to site, this is a great opportunity for a specialised Industrial Facilities Manager to build your career in one of Sydney’s fastest growing property businesses.

As the Facilities Manager, you are primarily responsible for management of the sites and the provision of operational direction in the delivery of services.

Working as part of a dedicated team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the presentation and day-to-day operations of allocated properties, including Fire & Emergency Services maintenance and risk mitigation
  • Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, clients, contractors and colleagues
  • Reviewing the monthly operating expenditure against budget
  • Working with Property Managers to produce monthly client reports and provide input on budgets and capital expenditure
  • Ensuring risk mitigation and OH&S management processes are maintained
  • Managing data within the facilities management software
  • Ensuring all planned preventative maintenance programmes are clearly documented and maintained
  • Ensuring essential services compliance

Qualifications

The skills and experience you will bring to this role include:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise
  • Experience using computer-based building maintenance and management systems

In addition, you will;

  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of building services
  • Provide maintenance advice ensuring clients’ quality and safety targets are met
  • Oversee project based work including capital works, fit-outs and refurbishments
  • Hold a current NSW drivers’ licence and registered car
