An opportunity exists for Receptionists/Administratative Assistants to join our Business Services team in Sydney.

About the role

The Business Services team is responsible for supporting AGS in range of client focused and operational tasks in the areas of Reception, Mailroom, Records Management, Events and Facilities. The Business Services team work collaboratively with staff and a range of external stakeholders to provide high quality support in a fast passed client service driven environment.

In this role you will:

  • provide exceptional customers service as the first point of contact for our clients in the office and over the phone
  • manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • archive and retrieve physical matter files and work with National Managers on file destruction projects
  • work with Building Management and external suppliers on facilities and maintenance issues within the office
  • liaise with practice groups on the service of documents and the collection of court filing
  • stationery and stock management including processing invoices
  • assist the National Client Services team with client events and training
  • work with IT, Legal Support and the Office Manager in preparation for new starters and on office moves
  • review and maintain the Sydney office intranet page, floor plans and phone directory.


About you

To be a strong contender for this role you will ideally have:

  • demonstrated experience in Reception, Mailroom and Records Management in a leading professional environment
  • be client focussed with previous professional customer service experience and a flexible and positive “can do” attitude
  • strong problem solving and time management skills
  • excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative working skills
  • high level organisational skills and great attention to detail
  • the ability to recognise sensitive information and maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
