About your Next Role

Due to our significant growth, an exciting full time, 6 month contract role has become available for an experienced analytical and pro-active Merchandise Allocator to join our collaborative and dynamic team located at our Support OfficeReporting to the Merchandise Planner, and working across the Williams brand, you will be responsible for the planning, replenishment and allocation of men's footwear and Back to School for Williams and Mathers stores across Australia; ensuring we have the right stock, in the right store, at the right time for our customers.

About the role:

  • Contribute to the achievement of the department's sales targets
  • Facilitate the allocation & replenishment of merchandise by SKU
  • Coordinate inter-store transfers of merchandise
  • Analyse product flow & sales trends to accurately forecast future product needs
  • Ensure data integrity in data systems
  • Ensure stores are at the forefront of all activity in relation to merchandising & stock allocation processes
  • Assist the Planner in the pre-season planning process & grid quantifications using quantitative & qualitative information

To be successful you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Fashion, Business or similar is an advantage
  • Previous allocation experience in a fast paced retail environment preferred
  • Sound knowledge of footwear & fashion distribution & supply principles
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • High level of attention to detail
