About the Role

As a key member of Transformation function, the Project Coordinator will support and coordinate a number of workstreams and initiatives for a critical project that underpins the growth strategy of Pacific National.

With a number of initiatives that will deliver additional revenue and reduced cost, the Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all initiatives remain on track, providing regular reports to key transformation stakeholders and advise on any need for escalation.

You will be required to develop a detailed understanding of all workstreams, partnering with project leads to monitor progress, risks and issues and assist in the development of project reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with Project Managers to highlight project interdependencies and ensure priorities and time frames are adhered to
  • Assist in the development and updating of project plans and schedules
  • Monitor and manage compliance to plans and initiate recovery program to correct deficiencies and deviations from the project plan
  • Report weekly on status of all associated work streams and advise where potential intervention is required
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings as required, attending project meetings to record minutes, raise action items, monitor the progress of action items and follow up responsible persons on the status of the mitigation actions

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Background in rail and training will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex and large-scale change programs
  • Prior experience in organisation wide projects in similar matrix organisation
  • Project management qualifications
  • Strong ability to influence outcomes for a project
