This position exists within Risk & Fraud Operations of a Big4 and is a great opportunity for you to utilise your previous customer service or banking experience to enhance your career in an exciting and dynamic team. The Fraud Team operates on a 24/7 roster and you will be required to be flexible for shifts Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday.

Your new role

  • Prevent, detect, and respond to scams and frauds incidents conducted via online banking, telephone banking, over the counter transactions and mobile applications
  • Helping customers dispute fraudulent transactions or purchases
  • Effectively communicate to and guide customers through in-depth conversations to prevent financial loss to customers
  • Managing Inbound Calls within agreed service level


What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering superior customer service - ideally in a phone based role as this will be high volume
  • Operational experience in handling sensitive customer matters - ability to show empathy to customers
  • Knowledge of multiple banking products or financial services is desirable but not necessary
  • Strong work ethic and time management
  • Critical/Analytical thinking
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication
