About the role

Business Transactions is the centre of excellence responsible for managing AMP Advice’s capital exposure and any growth activities for AMP’s network of financial advisers. The transactions team is the end to end process owner for licensee buybacks.

The primary purpose of the

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the client letter distribution process, ensuring all client data is correct and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate documentation
  • Identify, report and action any issues or breaches
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of ASIC Regulatory Guides, Corporations Act, AUSTRAC expectations and other relevant legislation.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of a best practice adviser transition model
  • Adhoc support to Practice Transition Managers and their teams as required.

Capabilities & Experience

  • Knowledge of compliance and risk management practice in a corporate context
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing large sets of data
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across business units
  • Proven high level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Process data reporting, analysis and dashboard style reporting - ideally experience using Excel / Power BI / Salesforce
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated time management skills with an ability to prioritise and complete work to deadlines
