APS6 Provider Adoption Lead
Reporting to the Division Manager, this role will help drive the meaningful adoption and use of digital health technologies and support Primary Health Networks (PHNs), Jurisdictions and Indigenous Health Services to deliver education and change management across multiple healthcare settings.
The primary focus of this role will be to assist with the roll-out of an electronic prescription program across Australia and ensure that healthcare providers are confidently able to use the new technology.
The Provider Adoption Lead will achieve this outcome by:
Leading training and change management activities for adoption of national electronic prescribing;
Creating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to drive the use of key digital health technologies including EPP, My Health Record, and Secure Messaging;
Providing regular electronic prescribing and other digital health priority ‘train the trainer’ education, training and updates for primary care, jurisdictional and Indigenous Health Services staff;
Driving and supporting locally tailored approaches to educate users;
Assisting stakeholders to resolve technical issues;
Collaborating with software vendors to promote key digital health functionality within clinical information systems;
Providing Agency representation for local clinical and community engagements, such as conferences, community forums and clinical peak association engagements;
Willing to travel both locally and interstate with capacity to work outside of normal business hours;
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience delivering digital change management within the health sector, along with experience in collaborating with health clinicians and using clinical information systems. Your knowledge of Electronic Prescribing, My Health Record and Secure Messaging in a Pharmaceutical environment will be of benefit. Tertiary qualifications in a health discipline would be desirable.
