The Azure Admin / Web Developer contributes to the ongoing management of the SATC Azure Services that host our public facing websites. In addition to this contributing to the back-end development of our content management system (.NET). While formal qualification is beneficial, it is just as essential to have a passion for coding, backed by digital agency experience.

  • Expert level in
  • Azure suite of products
  • ASP.Net / C# (MVC)
  • Skills and experience with Microsoft Azure:
    • App Services
    • Backups and disaster recovery
    • Security and logging
    • Networking
    • Load balancing
    • Root cause analysis
  • Enjoy learning unfamiliar / new technologies
  • Comfortable with changing requirements and situations
  • Ability to work within a team environment and take direction as required
  • Self-motivation and able to work without close supervision, within existing guidelines, procedures, and policy
  • Effective communicator who:
  • comments their code effectively
  • able to document solutions / architecture / implementation in laymen terms
  • can get productive with legacy code
  • communicates with the broader team and teammates
  • a natural curiosity to find the root cause of problems

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Systems maintenance - ensure websites are always available with a minimum annual uptime of 98%
  • Technical platform support and maintenance
  • Advice, monitoring and planning – monitor and report system maintenance and ensure service provider compliance with agreed service levels
  • Customer Service – ensure customers are kept well informed, and their expectations managed.

The role will be offered as a three (3) year contract and subject to six (6) months’ probation and participation in regular performance reviews. A salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation will be offered.
