2020 Geriatric Registrar


Title: Geriatric Medicine Registrar 2020

Classification: HM25 to HM30
Hours: 86 hours per fortnight
Status: Full time fixed 3 months

Period of Contract: 26 October 2020 – 31 January 2021

The Position
The position is accredited with the RACP for Advanced Training (Advanced Trainee In Geriatric Medicine preferred)

This position provides valuable support to the Geriatric Medicine junior medical staff in the unit.

Bendigo Health is seeking motivated staff to help the organization progress excellence in clinical care as we transition to our new exciting hospital.

Selection Criteria Essential: 01.MBBS or equivalent degree enabling general registration with AHPRA. Membership of College advanced training program preferred.
Essential: 02.Demonstrated appropriate level experience and skills in the medical assessment and clinical management of patients.
Essential: 03.Thorough understanding of the relevant legislation pertaining to Medical Officers.
Essential: 04.High level interpersonal and communication skills.
Essential: 05.Evidence of ongoing professional development to continually update personal medical knowledge and skills.
Essential: 06.Ability to operate in an environment of change.
Essential: 07.Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
