An exciting opportunity has presented for a Receptionist / Guest Services Agent to join our Front Desk team. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, the successful candidate will require excellent communication and computer skills, be well presented and friendly, understand the true meaning of great customer service, follow procedures and be willing to go that extra step to ensure our valued patrons feel welcomed and enjoy their stay at the hotel.
This is a casual position and requires full availability, including nights, weekends and Public Holidays.
Reporting directly to the FOM, some of your tasks are:
Answering phone calls and e-mails
Selling rooms and making reservations
Taking payments, counting till and verifying banking
Check-ins and Check-outs
Managing and organizing paperwork
This role also requires:
High attention to detail
Previous experience in hotel reception with PMS and extranets
Ensuring hotel policies and procedures
Quick problem solving skills
Organisation and follow-up
