WHS Officer

As the Work Health & Safety representative your responsibilities will include:

  • develop, implement and evaluate risk management policies and programs
  • train staff in work health and safety procedures
  • monitor and inspect the workplace and records
  • investigate incidents to ensure safe and healthy working conditions
  • assist in the project risk assessments
  • assist in the development of the project safety management plan
  • increase staff awareness of safety accountability's & responsibilities
  • run toolbox talks
  • facilitate team OH&S discussions and meetings
  • carry out inspections of the workplace
You will need:
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in Construction
  • Relevant education qualifications
  • Strong computer and admin skills
  • Experience working on high rise projects preferred
