About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Probate Clerk to support the Client Legal team in relation to obtaining Victorian grants of representation of deceased estates.

Duties

  • Prepare, lodge and monitor the progress of legal documentation for grants of representation in deceased estates
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders including Estate Management Officers and Probate Registrars
  • Research and seek advice on probate issues
  • Database management and report preparation
  • Provide general support to the team

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a legal firm and/or office administration
  • Knowledge of relevant probate legislation
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
