HR Officer

Exciting ongoing temporary opportunity for an experienced HR Officer!

The Company

Our client is a leading and well-known business, based in the Western suburbs. They are seeking an immediately available HR officer to commence ASAP for an ongoing temporary basis, due to internal growth. There is every opportunity for this role to become permanent for the right person.

Please note this as this role is offered on a temporary basis, and you must be immediately available to start.

The Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, and sitting in a team of 3, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Acting as support for all generalist HR advice in regard to current policies, amendments to policies and legislative requirements.
Maintaining accurate knowledge of all current and relevant HR legislation.
Assisting with end to end internal recruitment (screening and shortlisting applicants, reference checking, on-boarding of staff etc.)
Any ad hoc HR Administration as required.
Entering and maintaining employee data to ensure it is accurate and relevant.
Managing staff projects such as employee engagement initiatives, providing relevant training and ongoing support.

Your Profile

Tertiary HR qualification or business-related experience
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
An enthusiastic and positive approach to your work
A highly organised self-starter, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, being able to manage and prioritise conflicting deadlines
Established experience in a similar role
