The Role

QSuper’s Life Insurance subsidiary, QInsure, have a unique, newly created opportunity for a

Compliance Manager

to join their Risk and Compliance Team on an 8 month, maximum term basis. Supporting the Manager Risk and Compliance as part of the broader Business, Performance and Optimisation business unit, the Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in the execution of first line compliance activities, ensuring that QInsure have appropriate controls in place to ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory obligations. This role is also responsible for undertaking detailed compliance mapping across all QInsure business units.

This role will also see the successful candidate assist in ensuring current compliance obligations are embedded into appropriate policies and procedures whilst also proactively identifying and recommending policy and procedure improvements, as required. Skills, Experience and Qualifications

The ideal

QInsure Compliance Manager

will demonstrate some, or most of the below:
Demonstrated experience in a risk management/compliance role (in financial services will be highly regarded)

Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation within the Financial Services Industry and proven ability to integrate into existing frameworks (highly regarded)

Knowledge of industry Codes of Practice (i.e. Life Insurance Code of Practice)

An ability to focus on proactive compliance management and education

Highly developed verbal communication and writing skills, with an ability to effectively introduce change and influence people.
