Skilled Meat Workers


Currently have multiple meat processing positions available including but not limited to boning, slaughterer, slicer and general laboring positions in our production areas.

Previous experience in the meat production industry is an advantage, interviewing NOW, can start immediately if required.

This is a full time position

We are currently seeking experienced personnel for roles primarily in a Beef and Lamb Processing Plant. It is a great opportunity to secure a role that is day work and home every night. The role will initially commence as a casual with a view to permanency.

Criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in Boning, Slicing or Slaughtering duties required.
  • Relevant qualification (Cert 2/3 Meat processing) advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of different rotations.
  • Proven high level of knife sharpening skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Requirements.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and commination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with supervisors on improving daily duties.
