About the role & team

We have an opportunity for an experienced legal assistant to join our growing Property & Projects team in Sydney. This role will provide high-level administrative support to the Partners and lawyers.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a commercial law firm.

Our Sydney Property & Projects team, has approximately 13 people and this role will have the opportunity to work closely with partners and other team members as well as other members of the firm including Corporate Services.

Duties

  • Diary and management and bookings
  • File opening and maintenance
  • Arranging and conducting searches
  • Document preparation and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients and other key external contacts where required
  • Billing
  • Other general administrative tasks

Skills and experience

  • 4 years minimum experience as an administrative assistant in a commercial law firm
  • Experience in property law is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised and excellent time management skills
  • Experience with Aderant and/or FileSite is advantageous
