Please note: This job may not be suitable for working holiday visas, university students & non-permanent residents as we are looking for someone full time & long term.

Best Practice Software knowledge is desirable.

  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Medical reception experience, Medicare billing, Best Practice software knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
  • Attention to detail, proactive and ability to multitask.
  • Must be reliable and flexible.
  • Excellent computer, written and verbal skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and time management skills.
  • High standard of presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with patients and their families in a compassionate manner.
  • Schedule appointments and patient billings.
  • Answer and respond to telephone enquires in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Administrative support.
  • Liaising with doctors, staff and other allied health professionals.
  • Process daily banking and batching.
  • Managing internal / external correspondence, administrative daily routine tasks.
