The Opportunity

A Teacher in the Property Valuation team is a fun and rewarding role within the Technology and Business Services Skills Team. This is your chance to occupy an education role in a subject matter you love whilst having stability and work-life balance. You will be a part of a close knit, engaged team who are passionate about the industry and love to collaborate and share ideas, learnings and their knowledge not only with each other but also the students.

About you

To succeed in this role, you are a subject matter expert within property valuation or related discipline and have a passion for the industry. You will have experience within the industry and the ability to maintain industry currency. Applying your skills within Property Valuation, you have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge within a high growth industry. You will have the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including industry and students.

Additional Requirements;

  • Masters qualification in a valuation centric or related area, or
  • Post graduate qualification in a valuation centric area of study plus a Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the Property Valuation industry
  • Proven administrative skills including connected learning platforms
  • High level written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor a team or small group to achieve great results
  • Ideally, you are a member of Australia Property Industry, Australian Valuers Institute or Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and have a large network of industry connections
