About the team

The Point to Point Transport Commissioner is the authoriser and safety regulator for taxis and hire vehicles in NSW. We work with industry to ensure they have the knowledge and capability to implement and maintain their own safety management and promote industry compliance.

The opportunity

Right now, we have a integral opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join the Operations branch within the Point to Point Transport Commission based at Mascot. This position plays a key role in providing high level, efficient administrative support and contributes to the effective operation of the branch.

In this role, you will perform a range of administrative duties to support the senior management team as well as the wider Operations branch. This will include diary management, triaging information, coordination of parliamentary enquiries, meeting minutes and actions, document management, and ad-hoc admin tasks as required.


About you

We are looking for an Administration Assistant who has the ability to balance the needs of multiple senior stakeholders and the wider team, along with planning and prioritising workloads to meet scheduled deadlines. You will also have the ability to build, maintain and also manage strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

You are a motivated and energetic individual, who has exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You demonstrate initiative and have a willingness to learn and further develop your skills. Highly organised, proactive, flexible in your work approach, solutions focused and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 4 ($72,148 - $79,362) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
