As a member of our team your responsibility is to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within NSW/ACT. You will achieve this by promoting to existing and prospective customers through a solution-based approach. The launch of our anaesthetic machine requires a strategic sales professional with clinical peri-operative and sales experience. This role will require to have tenacity and resilience, it's not always easy to go up against the Big Boys so you will need to be agile as you develop new business opportunities to ensure our continuous and sustainable growth. Familiar in this environment you will utilise your networks and expertise to establish, develop and maintains business relationships with your key stakeholders - Anaesthetists and Anaesthetic Nurses.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new opportunities to drive business growth and market share
  • Analyses your territory/market's potential
  • Working collaboratively with the Account Managers to leverage relationships to win/win
  • Strategic business planning & mapping for success
  • A strong awareness of competitors' products & their perceived benefits
  • Ability to articulate your products competitive advantages

About you:

  • A tertiary qualification in Nursing, Science or a business discipline.
  • Ideally a peri-operative clinical background
  • 3+ years of sales experience in a hospital environment
  • Ability to learn technical medical device products & disseminate benefits at all levels
  • Analytical expertise to analyse information, problem-solve, and make informed decisions.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to communicate with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive and resilient with strong influencing skills
  • Clean drivers licence, own car and ability to travel as business needs necessitate
