Transport for NSW is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. Our role is to lead the development of a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities, centres and regions. We work with several government agencies to coordinate road, rail, bus and maritime services, always keeping the safety and comfort of our customers at the heart of what we do.
About the team
The Office of the Secretary supports our leaders to develop and deliver the vision and strategy for Transport for NSW. We provide a range of services including general business and Cabinet support, audit and risk, corporate planning and senior reporting.
Right now, we have a fixed term opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our Office of the Secretary until 30 June 2021. This role is responsible for providing high level, confidential, executive support to the Secretary’s Chief of Staff. This includes proficient diary coordination and maintainenance, inbox management and triaging requests, organising meetings and preparing documentation.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Office of the Secretary, expand your networks and have a bird’s eye view of a range of projects, services and activities being undertaken across the Transport Cluster.
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced setting. You have proven practical experience and expertise providing high level senior executive support, particularly in an environment with competing demands and ever changing priorities.
You possess strong attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships, especially at a senior level. Importantly, you uphold a high level of integrity and display confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 5A ($83,402) – 5E ($91,744) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
