We are seeking a Commercial/Finance Leader to join our team supporting the cutting edge Airpower Teaming System (ATS). In this role you will facilitate the development of the ATS global finance and commercial model, working across all functions within Boeing in Australia, Boeing US and Commonwealth of Australia to develop a business model for global exports. We're looking for “can-do” self-starters, who enjoy working in a diverse team exploring new technology.
Boeing is taking another bold step in aerospace and advanced manufacturing. ATS is the first military aircraft to be designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia in more than 50 years. The first aircraft prototype, called the Loyal Wingman, was unveiled with the Royal Australian Air Force in May this year. This unmanned teaming aircraft is Boeing's first military aircraft to be designed and developed outside the U.S and uses artificial intelligence to extend the capabilities of manned and unmanned platforms. This cutting edge project is aiming to unlock global defence and aerospace opportunities for Boeing and Queensland.
Initiate and independently lead weekly, monthly, and annual reporting requirements for both internal and external stakeholders across multiple funding streams - internal and external, local and international
Facilitate the development of the ATS global finance and commercial model, working across all functions within Boeing in Australia, Boeing US and Commonwealth of Australia to develop a business model for global exports
Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
Initiate assignments and independently lead variance analysis and provide understanding of operational and financial performance to multiple stakeholders
Contribute as part of the BP&A team to managing cost and schedule performance
Work with multiple stakeholders including BDA, Boeing Aerostructures Australia and The Boeing Company
Relevant Business degree is desirable
Proven ability to deliver, on-time and within budget
Ability to define, design and plan tasks, and manage a team
Project Accounting or Cost Analyst experience and a sound understanding of project management principles planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost accounting and reporting
Competent user with advanced Excel skills and other Microsoft Office applications. Ideally have experience in project management software such as ERP and Cobra
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements and have a security clearance
