A great opportunity for an experienced Product Specialist to join our Advanced Surgery QLD team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Field Sales Team Leader - Advanced Surgery QLD, this role is responsible for supporting surgeons and theatre staff with biosurgical products used for haemostasis and sealing in surgery. Primary call points are surgeons, nurses, operating room staff, and hospital administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting theatres staff in operating theatre.

  • Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of all the Advanced Surgery products and services.

  • Increasing awareness and educating surgeons on the proper use of Baxter products in on label surgical procedures, as well as the features and benefits of Baxter products.

  • Monitoring sales against forecasts and determining market potential for the territory.

  • Coordinating with hospital administration, supply chain management,
    materials management, purchasing, and pharmacy.

Key Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree(preferred) required with 5+ years of relevant Medical device/Healthcare sales experience within an operating room environment.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships

  • Proven experience in the operating theatre environment and demonstrated success in driving sales within a highly competitive market.

  • Established relationships within Brisbane hospitals and surrounding hospitals would beneficial.

  • Strong commercial acumen.

  • Understanding of compliance and ethical standards.

  • Proficiency with CRMs and digital platforms.
