This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate to undertake a role as an Immunology Research fellow for a 12-month period at Austin Health starting in January or February 2020. The role is within the Department of Infectious Diseases and Centre for Antibiotic Allergy and Research, Austin Health. The position is to undertake clinical and laboratory research in drug allergy, in particular antibiotic allergy, and COVID-19. The current research activity includes immunological observational studies, health services interventions and clinical trials. The position would be suited to a candidate with Immunology, Allergy or Infectious Diseases experience. Further, there is an opportunity for a medical applicant with AHPRA registration and working towards or with current qualifications in clinical immunology/allergy or infectious diseases to preform an additional role on a part-time basis in the clinical drug and antibiotic allergy service.
