As part of our plan for continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Market Development Manager to join our team at either our Sydney or Melbourne offices.

The Role

Reporting to the Business Manager for Geospatial the Market Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Active participation in creating the scanning business strategy
  • Driving revenue through business planning activities and stakeholder engagement
  • Developing a Sales and Marketing Plan to drive sales performance within the industry segments.
  • Contributing and participating in marketing communications to internal and external clients.
  • Supporting sales personnel with high-level demonstrations and closing negotiations
  • Commitment and contribution to developing and meeting personal and regional budgeted sales targets while achieving planned gross profit

This role will suit someone with the following:

  • Proven experience in delivering laser scanning projects at an operational level
  • Proven experience in business to business relationships and people management
  • A desire to learn new things and continuously seek personal development
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Experience with Zoller + Fröhlich, ClearEdge3D, 3D Systems and Topcon solutions.
  • An ability to work in a team environment
  • An ability to empathise with both customers and team/staff and maintain a respectful relationship with both.
  • An ability to complete paperwork and reporting in a timely manner.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
