About the role:
The role will be responsible for the resource and coordination of the delivery of the GP component of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) course in conjunction with the Teaching & Learning Team. Integral to this role is the maintenance of relationships with our Primary Care Community known as the Victorian Research and Education Network (VicREN).
The General Practice Liaison and Placement Coordinator is responsible for managing relationships with VicREN to facilitate recruitment of general practices for teaching and research activities. This includes input into marketing materials, coordinating the allocation of students to practices, organising campus based and online workshops, and overseeing the assessment and evaluation activities of the GP term.
To be successful in applying for this role, you will be highly motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders. You will be able to work independently, resolving issues with reference to university policy and procedures and using your sound judgment when assessing queries that needs to be escalated. You will have highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your work activities effectively and identify improvement opportunities to ensure continuous improvement of processes.
