The Chief Customer Office is responsible for all customer and colleague facing activities that occur across Bankwest. The CCO ensures that there is effective alignment in messages for all customer and colleague segments.

The Change, Communications and Events team is responsible for communications and change management across Bankwest. The team manages and delivers communications initiatives of all types, from transformational to operational, acting as the voice of Bankwest colleagues and customers.

Do work that matters

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Communications, you will be responsible for implementing internal communication strategies and activities for Bankwest, working confidently with senior stakeholders to ensure these are designed in creative and effective ways in order to engage colleagues in Bankwest's purpose, vision and strategic direction.

More specifically you will

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that meet business objectives
  • Develop internal communication strategies that span executive communication, corporate communication, colleague communication, organisational change initiatives and major operational initiatives.
  • Measure the effectiveness of communication programs on a regular basis and evolve activity accordingly.
  • Ensure there is a strong alignment with Bankwest’s external messaging.
  • Provide strategic communication advice and support to Bankwest senior leaders, enabling them to develop their understanding of communication and enhance their skills.
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders, advising on appropriate messages and delivery methods on an ongoing basis. Proactively identifying issues which may impact Bankwest colleagues or Bankwest’s reputation

We want to hear from you if you have

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship building skills
  • A tertiary degree in Communication, Journalism or Marketing is desirable
