Rostering Team Leader

About the job

In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with frontline leaders to understand the staff resource needs and ensuring the rostering team fill rosters according to customer need and deploys the right staff at the right time with the right skills to support customers This also includes managing the tactical rostering activities within the team, whilst providing strong collaborative leadership to meet key KPI’s and deliver a quality service consistently, both to internal and external stakeholders.

Key accountabilities

  • Manage the relationship with frontline leaders to enable the efficient and effective rostering of staff to customer and operational needs
  • Implement consistent rostering practices across all areas
  • Ensure practices deliver roster maximisation across all services
  • Monitor contractual compliance obligations and KPI’s and apply corrective actions
  • Develop strong customer service practices across the rostering team
  • Provide coaching and support of the rostering team

What we are looking for

  • Prior experience in staff rostering
  • Coordinator/Team Leader/Supervisor experience in a regulated environment
  • Demonstrated effective planning and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative strong leadership style and a solution driven problem solver
