About the Role

This is an exciting time for Uniting Communities' psychosocial and NDIS services in the Northern Metro region, a time of building and a great opportunity for you to be a part of a growing, dynamic and supportive team of professionals providing recovery support for people under NDIS. The Support Worker role is responsible for:

  • providing person-centred strengths-based services to participants, based on their agreed Support Plan
  • facilitating skills development and living skills
  • assisting participants to achieve their NDIS goals
  • assisting participants in their independent living skills, eg shopping, household tasks, attending appointments

About You

The following attributes are relevant to this position:

  • Certificate 4 Mental Health or Certificate 4 Mental Health Peer Work or equivalent
  • prior experience in mental health related work
  • holds a current Drivers Licence
  • use of vehicle for work purposes
  • relevant police clearances
