About The Role...
An extraordinary opportunity has arisen for an experienced Category Manager to take on and implement promotional programs supporting category and supplier sales growth. You will also implement range reviews as per set schedules to drive category growth and identify business opportunities reflecting business ranging strategy.
This role encompasses the management of category margins, budgets, negotiation of favourable trading term agreements with suppliers, and the management of monthly markdowns. The review and maintenance of pricing in line with policies and procedures will assist in maximising promotions values which meet and exceed customer expectations.
This position is based in our Support Office which is located in the Adelaide CBD.
As an experienced Category Manager, you will have proven leadership skills focussed on change management, organisational culture development and building ongoing business results. You will be analytical, competent in the Microsoft suite of products and experienced in negotiating on supplier trading terms. Previous experience in FMCG or the Beauty Industry would be highly regarded.
Your exceptional negotiation and interpersonal communication skills will see you maintain mutually respectful and collaborative business partnerships with suppliers and with internal customers across sales, marketing, promotions and store operations.
