Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Sales Manager / Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining contact with current customers, identifying new opportunities and following up potential leads sourced through industry research and direct contact. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the management team in developing marketing materials and innovative ideas to increase brand presence and awareness in the region. Finally you will develop sales reports for senior management and assist in managing tender submissions.
Skills and experience
As a highly motivated Sales Manager / Sales Representative or Account Manager, you will have had proven success in winning new business and developing existing clients to meet or exceed your team's sales budgets. Ideally you will have worked in a company or a dealership network that sells or hires out large scale mechanical or electrical equipment used for industrial, manufacturing or power generation applications. A mechanical or electrical trade qualification would be well regarded and importantly you will be respected as a dynamic and highly driven sales professional.
