The Opportunity
BDA is recruiting a number of people to fulfil various roles within the Wedgetail Information Security (INFOSEC) as Cyber Network Security Specialists. All roles within the INFOSEC team will be supporting the AEW&C Wedgetail Program at either RAAF Base Williamtown or Brisbane CBD. The role requires a dynamic individual who will be responsible for a wide range of information security duties across the Wedgetail program. Working closely with INFOSEC teammates, you'll work with the customer and a large number of multi-disciplinary teams from different organisations to ensure the requirements of the ISM and the PSPF are appropriately met.

Experience/Qualifications
The following skills will be highly regarded, but are not essential for the role:

Experience in interpreting and implementing physical security and/or information security standards.

*
Understanding of developing and implementing information security practices in an engineering environment.

*
IT System Administration

*
Security knowledge across any of the following: Networking; Windows and Linux Operating Systems; Information Security Certification and Accreditation; Engineering experience or background; Software/systems development; or Information Security risk management

Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet defence security requirements, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance (NV2). For more information on the security clearance vetting process is available on the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) website.

Successful candidates will be provided a combination of On-Job Training (OJT) and formal supplementary training in Information Security as part of role. Prior experience and/or training in information security is beneficial, but is not necessary, and the training will be modified to suit the needs of the individual and role they perform within the INFOSEC team.
