The Role:

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant Rehabilitation Physician to join their team in the rehab & Geriatric Ward.

This is a full-time role in the 60 bed Rehab ward which also has Geriatricians working full-time.

Work also includes out-reach clinics and inpatient work.

The Hospital:

Our client is a 650-bed hospital that functions as a major hospital within Victoria. Employing over 3400 people making it the largest employer in the region.

The hospital offers a range of services including Child & Adolescent Health, Community Care, Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Mental Health, Residential Aged Care, Surgical, Sub-Acute (encompassing Allied Health), Women's Health.

This facility offer one of the best packages available anywhere in Australia within the public system. The total package on offer will range from $350,000 to $400,000.

The Role:

A rare opportunity has come up for an ICU Registrar to join the team. This position has been accredited by the CICM and can count towards your FCICM. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and develop as well as study as your roster will be tow 24 hour shifts per week. You will be working with experienced consultants who have many years of experience passing on their knowledge. This is also a feeder location for the Melbourne based Tertiary Hospitals.

  • Either hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
  • For on shore doctors have at least 6 months ICU experience.
  • For overseas doctors have at least 24 months ICU experience.
  • Have a significant interest in building your career in Intensive Care Medicine.
