About the Job
The Ecommerce Marketing Executive position is for an exceptional and ambitious person, one who loves the beauty industry as much as online marketing. You are self-motivated, hungry for all things digital and passionate about creating the next best campaigns that will be viewed by people from all over the world. You will work directly with our Ecommerce Marketing Manager to develop and implement the online marketing strategy for Sand & Sky.

In this position you will be responsible for executing highly engaging marketing campaigns, while collaborating with our experts in the Acquisition, Design and IT teams at Supernova. You will also get the chance to dive into campaign data, leveraging tangible learnings to improve results across channels.

Broad Responsibilities

  • Assisting our Brand and E-Commerce teams to craft compelling content across email, blog, and website channels
  • Crafting and owning the content calendar for email and blog collateral across business-as-usual, campaign, and tactical communications
  • Preparing creative briefs, picking relevant content, and writing exciting copy for use across website, loyalty, and blog channels
  • Working with our designers to create marketing collateral such as videos, email templates, banners etc
  • Building and updating creative reports on activity across loyalty and blog channels
  • Assist in crafting conversion-driven copy for various website assets to support campaigns, offers, and ad hoc communications
  • Support the E-Commerce Marketing Manager in executing BAU and tactical activity where required across all e-commerce channels

Loyalty

  • Assist in developing and executing against the email content calendar, aligning with Brand and E-Commerce teams to support on campaigns, promotional offers, and tactical communications
  • Craft direct-response copy for web push and SMS channels
  • Provide reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis to the Sand & Sky team, providing insights into content and creative performance
  • Assisting E-Commerce Marketing Specialist in executing loyalty communications tactics to proactively optimize performance against set KPIs through ad-hoc and evergreen initiatives

Blog

  • Develop and manage the blog content calendar in line with brand communications objectives
  • Write + edit creative content for use across blog, in-line with SEO best practices
  • Own and manage performance of the blog channel to improve overall organic share of traffic
  • Work with E-commerce and Brand teams to align blog content across supporting channels to drive onsite traffic + community engagement

Requirements

  • 1 year of working experience; prior ecommerce or professional content writing experience essential
  • A can-do attitude and a love to problem-solve
  • Strong motivation to achieve results and hit targets
  • Experience with reporting updates, results and analysis is a strong plus
  • Strong copywriting skills essential
  • Ability to think outside the box, creative and passionate for trying new things
  • Proven track record in executing innovative and effective marketing campaigns to drive sales
  • Ability to work in a team, but is also a self-starter focused on individual goals
  • Ability to work effectively and autonomously
  • Strong commitment to planning and organising
  • A strong understanding of, or interest in, the ecommerce and social media landscape
  • Genuine interest in the beauty industry, with previous experience an advantage
  • Allowed to work in Melbourne
