An exciting position has become available for a MARKETING & SPONSORSHIP SPECIALIST to join our National Marketing team. based at our Group Support office in seven hills and reporting to the Campaign Marketing manager, you will be responsible for managing the development, delivery and implementation of the local area marketing strategy including the management and activation of key State/Region and national sponsorships.

This is a very diverse role and will provide you the opportunity to travel and attend events and marketing activations across Australia and NZ, you will be responsible for;

  • Developing plans for the local area to assist with revenue generation and increase brand awareness in the regions.
  • Leveraging the Kennards Hire brand and reputation for the benefit of local area initiatives
  • Development of local marketing programs in collaboration with the various teams across the business
  • Oversee and deliver on the implementation of the marketing program including activation of our state and national level sponsorships such as The Block, Sydney FC and many other exciting sponsorships.

About you

A vibrant and passionate marketing professional with a creative flare, you will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your strength is the ability to influence and develop successful marketing strategies;

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, or equivalent and/or demonstrated equivalent experience in local area marketing, sponsorships or events
  • 5+ years experience within a similar marketing, events or sponsorship position
  • Strong experience in developing successful strategies designed to target various customer segments, build brand awareness, customer engagement and drive revenue
  • Demonstrated understanding of channel planning and customer segmentation
  • Must be deadline driven, quick to learn, flexible, adaptive with a hands on approach
