Fulton Hogan is pleased to have been awarded the Sydney Airport Grounds Maintenance Contract where our team performs works including landscaping, vegetation management, horticultural and arborist works, litter collection, pavement repairs, street sweeping, line marking, cleaning, civil works on both airside and landside locations at Sydney Airport.
We are seeking a qualified Horticulturalist/Landscaper to join our team at Sydney Airport.
You will be responsible for
Advise on the best upkeep of open spaces including gardens, landscapes, reserves and bushlands and actively partake in their maintenance and upkeep.
Ensure all open spaces are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times.
Advise on gardening techniques, plants and layouts to ensure gardens and open spaces are sustainable and meet the needs of customer requirements.
Garden labour such as planting, pruning, weeding, hedging and mowing are to be completed in a safe manner using the most appropriate equipment.
Complete scheduling and reporting requirements for client.
What we need from you?
To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience:
Certificate III in Landscape or Horticulture (or similar)
Previous experience working in a grounds/maintenance role
Full Driving Licence
A keen eye for detail and great communication skills
Strong team ethic with the ability to work independently
IT capability – basic level word and excel.
Positions will need to undergo:
Airside Security Induction Card, including Federal police and;
Fitness for work medical clearance
Sydney Airport Corporation and Fulton Hogan Induction
