Remuneration & Benefits Specialist


Our People & Culture team, based in the Perth Head Office on St. Georges Terrace, are looking to welcome an experienced Remuneration & Benefits Specialist that can hit the ground running.

Our team consists of nine easy going, passionate and down to earth individuals (spread across the nation) that live and breathe all things Cashies. We are a diverse bunch that believe in autonomy, teamwork, having fun and getting stuff done in the process!


We are looking for someone that is well versed in remuneration and benefits to join our team and fill some rather large shoes!


You will find no two days are the same and we can guarantee you will never get bored! A high level of emotional intelligence and resolve will see you successful in this role.


Reporting through to the Manager, People & Culture , you will be responsible for the following:

  • Owning the remuneration & benefits process including:
    • annual salary review,
    • managing the statutory increases
    • benchmarking salary data,
    • reviewing our remuneration framework,
    • WGEA actions,
    • STI's & LTIs
    • annual reporting.
  • Reviewing our benefits and incentives and making recommendations to keep our people happy and engaged.
  • Analysing and interpreting a wide range of people metrics (such as diversity gap analysis) and providing reports for the wider business.
  • Driving and assisting with key projects on a national level as determined by the People and Culture annual operating plan.


Our newest team member will bring the following skills and attributes:


Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience working with/ owning the remuneration framework; or hands on experience working within a specific remuneration portfolio.
  • Experience benchmarking roles and salaries (we use AonHewitt)
  • Experience in owning/coordinating a company wide salary review program
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • Ability to multitask, juggle priorities and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Job Evaluation experience (e.g through Korn Ferry/Hay)
  • Implementation and maintenance of an STI/ LTI framework
  • Resilience and an energetic and focused approach with the ability to make stuff happen!
  • The ability to think on your feet, drop everything and change direction when necessary.
