About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, motivated and customer focused individual to join Cockburn ARC’s Operations team as a Facility Duty Manager. This position will assist in the delivery of a wide range of recreation activities and manage lifeguard services to ensure an exceptional customer experience at Cockburn ARC.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a multi-functional aquatic and recreation centre.
  • Previous experience in the technical management of pool plant equipment in a Group 1 Facility.
  • Exceptional people leadership skills including developing high performing teams, providing mentoring and coaching to support a positive team culture.
  • Proven ability to work and perform in a high paced, active environment.
  • Energetic and vibrant approach
  • Current qualifications in RLSS Pool Lifeguard, Pool Managers Certificate of Competency, Working with Children Check, LIWA Accreditation and Senior First Aid.

Roster; 20 hours per week, working on a rotating roster, including early morning openings, late closes and weekend shifts.

Base hourly rate: $35 - $37.46/hr, plus 25% loading for Saturdays, and 50% loading for Sundays.
