Operations Manager - VIC/TAS

Exciting opportunity for an exceptional People leader to take the next step in their retail journey with us!

In this role you will be an integral part of the Leadership Team, guiding business performance, leading through significant change, while driving people initiatives; identifying and nurturing a talent pipeline for future state growth.

You will be focused on delivery of strategic direction and operational excellence by leading, coaching and motivating a team of Group Managers in the VIC/TAS region, accountable for the engagement of a diverse and inclusive team. In this role you will support the Ballarat & Bendigo areas, up to the NSW border.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a motivated all rounder with proven experience in delivery of business results, contribution to strategic goals, alignment with our values and ways of working, with a commitment to the growth and development of a diverse team.

The suitable candidate will also have:

  • Proven capability at a Retail Operations (multi site) Area or State level
  • An ability to coach, motivate and inspire large operational teams, in line with our values and ways of working
  • Experience building diverse and inclusive teams aligned with our core values
  • Strong engagement and influencing skills with executive presence
  • Demonstrated ability to sponsor, lead and enable organisational change
  • Commercial acumen and an ability to interpret, prioritise and guide effective business outcomes
  • Strategic contributions at a state or national level with proven success
  • A transformational approach to leadership with an emphasis on taking initiative in service delivery
