What will your typical day look like?
Join our Deloitte Managed Solutions (DMS) team as we support our clients in responding to their most important and complex business needs, operating bespoke delivery programs with quality, speed, and efficiency across a wide range of industries and sectors. No two days are the same but typical daily activities could include:
Provide operational support to business proposals and engagement activity across our existing or new clients in response to important and complex client issues.
Help lead the execution of our programs through structured problem solving, effective time management, and providing our teams with the support and guidance needed to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently and effectively.
Providing project and client operational reporting, such as performance and status/forecast reporting.
Working in a fast-paced, target-driven environments, whilst maintaining composure in dealing with complex and challenging operational issues.
Support resourcing and operational requirements to scale-up our large-scale programs.
Thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment and adopt different working styles to meet different approaches in our work
Involvement in the preparation of operational financial management tools and budgets.
Build authentic and trusted relationships with our teams and the broader Deloitte firm.
About the team
The financial services industry and other industries and sectors are facing significant headwinds responding to misconduct which has resulted in a loss of customer trust and reputational damage. Organisations have responded by setting up large scale remediation programs and at Deloitte, through our DMS practice, we support our clients in re-building trust and delivering confidence on issues that matter most.
Our vision is to assist our clients with important and complex issues and challenges: typically, in delivering large scale complex and bespoke delivery programs, often in short timescales, bringing our expertise and excellence in execution to help our clients respond to their issues, with quality, speed and efficiency.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:
1 - 2 years of financial services industry experience across any of the following: Retail Banking/Wholesale/Investments/Banking/ Insurance/Super/lending/creditor Public sector experience
A proven track record delivering or being involved in large-scale operational projects, investigations, or remedial reviews;
Strong technical skills relating to process mapping, Excel, Visio, and other operational I.T. skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm and a passion to succeed
Experience in change management in terms of an operational context and an ability to work easily in a transitional period
