A position exists within the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority's Apprenticeship Field Services Unit to support a small team that monitors the compliance of employers approved to employ apprentices and trainees under Part 5.5 the Education and Training Reform Act 2006. This includes the management of field services provided by an approved training agent that employs authorised officers with powers provided under Part 5.8 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006. The unit conducts analysis and directs the training agent to make enquiries when and where they are needed, including any enquiries that may be necessary to resolve grievances in certain circumstances. The unit will from time to time run campaigns and conduct its own enquiries where the matters are complex or systemic.

As an Administration Officer you will report to the Manager, Apprenticeship Field Services and work in a small team responsible for monitoring the compliance of employers approved to employ apprentices and trainees under Part 5.5 the Education and Training Reform Act 2006.
The successful applicant will be highly organised, have strong attention to detail and be able to provide general administrative support to the unit to manage investigative services, including those delivered under a contract with the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA).

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of data bases, contact management systems and records management systems. They will have well developed written and verbal communication skills and be prepared to be flexible to suit the needs of the unit as required.
