An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to work in our Melbourne Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety team.
Supporting a Partner and Senior Associate you will display excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Prior experience working in an employment or industrial relations team or litigation experience will be highly regarded. You will be an integral member of the team who will provide superior administrative support and display an ability to think strategically and manage competing priorities for the team.
Responsibilities will include the following:
The ideal candidate will have solid Legal Assistant experience with excellent communication skills and a client service focus. You will be proficient in MS Word and formatting, and have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, and have exceptional attention to detail. A professional outlook, backed by a great sense of humour would see you fit in well with the team. The core office hours are 8.30am to 5:30 pm, however extra hours may be required when necessary.
