NPD Projects & Packaging Manager Wine

About The Role

Our New Product Development Manager will be an expert in prioritising and managing our Wine New Product Development pipeline. This key project management role will focus on leading cross functional teams to deliver exciting new wine products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership of cross functional teams on major NPD projects & agreed strategic initiatives to meet project KPIs. Fosters great team work & behaviours at all times.
  • Owns the product development process with our own manufacturing operations teams & 3rd party suppliers – ensures we have great communication throughout all projects & first commercial production is delivered right, first time.
  • Leads prioritisation of projects with management.
  • Ensures all projects are developed against an agreed product brief & adhere to our business rules through our stage gate process.

About You

Ideally you will have a strong understanding of the wine industry with deep networks and relationships in place. You will also have a:

  • Comprehensive understanding of product development practices.
  • Strong technical experience & knowledge of the Wine Industry & beverage manufacturing.
  • Strong cross functional leadership & project Management capability
  • Demonstrated application of stage gate process and project governance to product development
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management & negotiation skills – ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of local and international regulatory requirements including (but not limited to) Food Standards, GS1, Labelling Compliance.
