Administration Assistant - Tax


Our Tax team are seeking an Administration Assistant for a 12 month fixed term, full time contract. In this role you’ll have responsibility for providing a range of general administrative support to the team.

You’ll work closely with the experienced Practice Assistants and some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Credit card reconciliation and coding
  • Daily mail scanning, coding and distributing
  • Scanning of filing, maintaining electronic filing system
  • Assisting with billing processes
  • Ad hoc administrative support for events
  • Assisting with ASIC and ATO lodgements
  • Assisting with formatting/finalising client correspondence
  • Data entry and database information management
  • Assistance with risk procedures
  • General administration duties

Providing exceptional support to the Practice Assistants and Tax team and being an enthusiastic and energetic part of the team will be essential. Your proven ability to carry out tasks in a timely and efficient manner will be key to securing this role.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to build rapport and liaise with peers and executives
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance with policy and procedures
  • Commitment to quality and take pride in and responsibility for work performed
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment will be highly regarded.
