Job Summary

As a Microvellum CAD draftsperson at Adaptive Interiors, you will enjoy working with a fast paced team on a variety of commercial joinery and fitout projects in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and regional NSW.

Microvellum underpins our whole joinery production process, and there is always room for an enthusiastic operator who will make a quality contribution to the business success, and gain significant experience in the process. Our enviable product library is the fruit of many years of development, and you will be surrounded by keen Microvellum drafts people willing to both support and learn from one another.

You will be involved in all elements of joinery CAD design, reviewing architectural drawings and internal shop drawings, working with project managers on prioritising drafting and delivery of joinery and furniture

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Hands on Joinery / Cabinet making experience is essential.

Previous CAD drafting experience is essential, preferably Microvellum - however if you are skilled with other drafting programs and are willing to learn, this would be an excellent opportunity for you

Working from our Sydney (Wetherill Park) office, 7am - 5pm reporting to our Operations Manager. Our programmers essentially work autonomously, and are given responsibility for delivering complete projects in line with internal expectations and client timeframes.

With the dynamic nature of the construction industry, success involves the ability to be creative and adapt to the changing scene of building - both from perspective of timeframe and site conditions

Adaptive produce world class shop drawings and state of the art production software to minimise the "unknowns" and ensure you can achieve success through maximum efficiency and maintain visibility throughout the project.
