The Archival Support Officer will work within established guidelines and procedures to undertake the physical handling of archival records in a variety of formats, accurately enter and retrieve data from electronic records systems and digitise paper records.
This recruitment process will establish a merit pool of suitable applicants to fill future non-ongoing APS1 vacancies on a full-time, part-time or casual intermittent basis as opportunities arise. Vacancies will be for a period of 12 months with possible extension. Future ongoing (permanent) positions may be offered subject to operational requirements. Merit pool will remain active for 12 months from the date of advertisement.
Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance to Baseline.
